Supporting Families through Add-vance
Alongside my own coaching work, I am also a Specialist Coach for ADD-vance, the ADHD & Autism Trust — a charity dedicated to supporting families living with ADHD, autism, and related conditions.
Through this role, I provide one-to-one coaching for parents and carers of neurodivergent children and young people (up to age 25). The focus isn’t on coaching the child directly, but on equipping parents with strategies, confidence and support so that family life feels calmer, more connected, and more manageable.
In our coaching sessions, we explore practical approaches to:
-
Understanding attention, impulsivity, hyperactivity and executive function challenges
-
Supporting emotional regulation and reducing stress or anxiety
-
Navigating sensory needs and daily routines
-
Building resilience, confidence and self-esteem for the whole family
-
Prioritising self-care for parents and carers
Every family is unique, so the coaching is always tailored to your circumstances. Together, we look at what’s working, what’s not, and find realistic strategies that you can put into practice straight away.
I’m proud to be part of ADD-vance, because the charity is not only built on professional expertise, but also on lived experience — many of us are parents ourselves and truly understand the challenges (and joys!) of raising neurodivergent children.
